Rylan's 2nd Magical Unicorn Party

Our baby girl turned two this weekend and we celebrated with the most magical unicorn party! I kept it pretty simple in the party prep department, which was a total game changer considering I'm 34 weeks pregnant. We stuck to desserts only, made one large party display with a few small touches here and there in our house...and that was it. And to be honest, it was the most laid back, easy party I've done so far. So get ready for not a lot of words to read, and lots of adorable pictures to enjoy :)

I created a balloon arch over the dessert table, which was the most complicated part of all. I decided to just tape the balloons to the wall and to each other, which was the cheapest of options to do, but after multiple failed attempts, plenty of balloons popping, the entire thing falling off the wall the day of the party....it was a labor of love and turned out great! I added a few fake flowers around the balloons to jazz it up a bit.

For the desserts, I made dipped Oreos (melted pink chocolate with sprinkles), Unicorn munch (which was lucky charms, bugles white chocolate drizzled over it all and sprinkles), pastel m&m's, strawberry wafers dipped in chocolate and added sprinkles, marshmallows, pirouettes (that I called unicorn horns and the girls went nuts for), and my mom's amazing cupcakes and cake she made for Rylan. She is the best cake maker and cake decorator I know!
